Presenter Bio – Alyson Garrido
Alyson Garrido has built her successful career coaching practice through targeted relationship building and networking. She has quickly expanded since moving to Wellington, working with private clients and consultancies as well as writing for leading publications. She is excited to share what has worked for her business and how you can expand your reach using the same tools.
As a Career Coach, Alyson is passionate about helping professionals advance their careers and find jobs they will enjoy. She partners with her clients to identify their strengths and create a path toward a more fulfilling career. Alyson provides support around preparing for interviews, performance reviews and salary negotiations, ensuring that her clients present themselves in the best possible light for job search and career advancement.
She has facilitated workshops and retreats across industries and levels including investment firms, not-for-profits and youth programs as well as international professional organizations including Project Management Institute (PMI), Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA), the Southland Technology Conference 2016 and multiple Chambers of Commerce.
Alyson is unfailingly positive and inspires her clients and participant to move forward and put their ideas into action. She values partnership and customer service above all else, creating a customised approach for her participants.
Alyson is a Certified Professional Coach and Member of the International Coach Federation. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. She relocated from Los Angeles to Wellington in June 2017 and couldn’t be happier in her new home.
